I thought this book was a little bit, oh, you know, ADDICTING. I can read these books in an hour or so because they are so good. My only complaint is that the characters that are Zeus's brothers aren't around Zeus's age at all. Seriously, Poisedon was a 13 year old. Overall, great read for kids who love greek mythology and fantasy books like Percy Jackson.

My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves every single one of these. She won't stop talking about them and reads 1 every 1-2 days depending on her mood.
I would recommend this book to 7-13. This book is fun and adventurous. Its not my absolute favorite out of the series, but I'm not saying that it's a bad book I just like some of the other ones better. What I love about this series is that it takes modern Greek myths and makes it more fun and makes you see a different perspective of the gods. Another thing is that it has little hints of facts and parts from the actual modern myth.
I thought Athena the Proud was a very good book. It has great character development, and the plot was very creative. It's always interesting to see how the authors weave real Greek myths into their Goddessgirl stories! The one star off is because the series is very repetitive and the word choice is not totally creative. My advice to the authors is to maybe show more action and friendship between the GG girls and Medusa/Pheme. After a book on each girl, I think that they deserve a more prominent role on in the series. Otherwise, nicely done!
